Dr B David Cohen (Endodontist)
David qualified as a dentist in 1971 from the Royal Dental Hospital of London.
Following qualification he worked in general practice in Manchester, UK.
He became interested in Endodontics in 1976 and then undertook postgraduate training in the United States at Boston University.
In 1981 he was awarded an M.Sc. in 1984, and a Ph.D. in 1991, both in endodontic materials.
This led to the development of new materials and worldwide patents for such materials. In 2005 he was awarded a Certificate of Expert Witness Accreditation by Cardiff University, and in 2008 became a member of the Expert Witness Institute. He is also a registered specialist in endodontics with the UK General Dental Council.

David has been in specialist endodontic practice in Manchester UK for over 25 years, having treated between 15,000 and 20,000 teeth.
He is now available for specialist endodontic (root canal) treatment at the Oasis Dental Clinic in Marbella, Spain.
For a number of years David taught postgraduate Endodontics and undergraduate studies as a Lecturer at Manchester Dental Hospital and currently holds the position of Honorary Research Associate at Manchester University. He has written widely on endodontic subjects and in 1994 was a Visiting Fellow to the Singapore Ministry of Health. He has also lectured extensively in the U.K. and U.S.A.
David has served as the President of the British Endodontic Society and Chairman and/or executive member of a number of local dental and endodontic associations. He has also been since 1979 a member of, and regular attender at meetings of, the American Association of Endodontists.
David has been married to Marsha for 39 years and has 3 children. He loves spending time with his family, especially his five young grandchildren. He also enjoys learning Spanish, collating the family tree, photography, collecting whisky and vodka miniatures and flying his aeroplane. He has been very active in the local Jewish community, including Jewish Social Services, the local Jewish Dental Societies, and recently a stint of three years as the President of his synagogue. He has recently been appointed as a Governor at a local high school.
